My dad and I used to do that at the YMCA downtown. Probably some courts around North Omaha would be your best bet.

I've seen some pickup games going on at the court just north (on Saddle Creek) of the Hy-Vee at Saddle Creek and Center.

I know this is an old thread but it shows up in Google now when searching for pick up basketball Omaha. I am trying to revive the conversation. Also, if you want to get on a Omaha pickup ball email list and see a list of pick up games head over to this link and check it out.

Just joined the list! Always looking for court time outside of just my UNO membership.

I actually run a "pick up league" on Thursday nights at Mockingbird Hills Community Center from 6-8 pm. We play just about every week unless a holiday. It is $6, but a good group of 25-55 year olds. Let me know if you are interested.

That is great info. I put that in the pick up basketball post on the site. My 5th grade team's last Thursday night practice is tonight and I am going to check it out one of these weeks. It sounds about perfect. Can we just show up or do you have ti sign up?

You can just show up, but I prefer to know who is planning on coming each week so we don’t have too many like the 19 guys we had tonight (although in that case we just play shorter games so people aren’t sitting out too long and everyone gets a good run in)

But either way it is always good to have new faces. Just let me know!
