The chase for a National Championship win began in 1973 for Tom Osborne, when he was
named the head coach of the Nebraska Huskers on the back of repeat national titles in ‘70 and ‘71. It would take 21 years before the Huskers would reach the goal that the fans, the team, the state of Nebraska, and Coach Osborne lived and breathed. Amid the triumph, a more significant struggle brewed off of the field. Crippled by controversy and dropped to their knees with tragedy, the Nebraska Husker program defied all odds and winning three National Championships in 4 years. I got tickets to see this at the Majestic. Looking forward to it. I have seen where it says this version is part 1 called The Rise. Haven't heard anything about Part 2. Anyone know if that is still in the works?

Day by Day Documentary: Part 2

The second in a two-part documentary series chronicling the career of legendary University of Nebraska Head Coach Tom Osborne will debut at select Marcus Theatres in the Cornhusker State on December 8. Apple TV pre-orders are now live for the digital release on Dec. 15.

Following the acclaimed release of “Day By Day: The Rise” in August, “Day By Day: The Dynasty” recalls Osborne’s first national championship following a 24-17 victory over the University of Miami in the Orange Bowl on January 1, 1995.
