Have you heard anything about the seriousness of Gary's injury last night? I have not but to be fare I have not looked real hard wither. The concern is the early comments came off that it may not be good.

YOu are probably correct. I know his season-ending last year was shoulder-related and required surgery. I was thinking the other was a knee, but I am likely wrong. All in addition to the suspension to start this year.

Sounds like we dodged a huge bullet. They are saying Gary suffered a calf strain. Out tomorrow for sure, but not a MCL, ACL or anything that would end his season:

I just thought it was so cool.

The cool thing about this weekend's reunion and honoring the 93-94 team, was that Coach Hoiberg played against them. Would have been great hearing them and Fred reminisce about that season and their games against each other and the season as a whole. Thought Coach Nee looked great.

Listened to the radio pregame Saturday. They mentioned Danny Nee was now 80. Obviously makes sense considered he was already deep in his career when Nebraska hired him in the 80's. Still if you had asked me before I heard this, I think I would have said 60's. Hearing Danny is 80 hit home and sure did make me feel old. Time flies.

Tonight, The Huskers (14-5) take on Ohio St (13-5) in Lincoln. It is a 6 PM tip ( much better, IMO, than those 8 PM starts), but I wonder if it will be a late-arriving crowd or a bunch of no-shows. There are plenty who come in from outside of Lincoln, and work times could impact getting there.

If you are going to watch TV time to dust off your Peacock subscription. That is who has the game tonight.

Yeah that's a good point. The Huskers with drawing a large number of fans from outside Lincoln, have extra challenges with weeknight games. They draw from all directions. We absolutely need this one.

About 10 minutes in, I texted my brother and said that I did not like what I was seeing. The Huskers were down 9. Right after that, the Huskers forced two turnovers and hit two 3s. It was like a different game from that point on.

With Gary still out and Tominaga not having a great outing, the rest of the team stepped up. Hoiberg and Lawrence didn't have great stat lines, but they sure impacted the game with great play.

The game was on Peackock, but the Huskers are now 3-0 on Peackock, so that is not all bad. Wins over Oregon St, Purdue, and Ohio St.

The crowd arrived very late, but it was nearly full.

Yeah Mast was awesome last night, and we needed it, especially with Gary still out (and Keisei in early foul trouble). I think it safe to say, he's fully recovered from his knee surgery earlier this season.

Lawrence definitely hit some key buckets in that first half comeback. Hoiberg is such a luxury for Nebraska. Absolutely love what he brings to the games.

After NU got down by nine in the first half and had their run to take the lead (sparked in part by CJ) the crowd really seemed to come to life. You could definitely hear them. The Huskers, especially on D, seemed to feed off of it.

Peacock seems like it's going to be a big part of the future. Obviously football has already been on there, basketball multiple times this year. Next year I could see more of both on there as the Big 10 expands with the 3 west coast schools coming so there will be more inventory available. Plus I had already seen online that Big 10 volleyball games will start airing nationally next season on Peacock as well.

That's good to know. Looks like Maryland is favored by 2 1/2. Based on what you posted, it looks like we'd be the favorite if it was at PBA.

What a disappointing game. I was out and about, so I intended to listen to some of it, and that didn't even work.

The radio broadcast was as big of an issue as the team's play. I tried to listen but gave up. I did hear them say during the pregame that they were having all kinds of tech issues, and it sounded like they were never resolved. I am sure that they broadcast the game each from their cell phones. Really.

I was using the streaming feed in a noisy environment and couldn't make out much of what was being said, so I gave up. I didn't think about streaming the B1G broadcast and just listing it until it was too late. Reading the summary and watching the game highlights I didn't miss much,
