A popular Nebraska staple announced the death of one of its owners. Valentino's Pizza started in Lincoln and, in 1971, was purchased by Anthony "Tony" Messineo Jr. and his brother. They expanded the pizzeria to several stores in six states and, of course, inside Memorial Stadium.

Bruce Lauritzen, former head of FNBO, has died. A statement posted to the bank’s website by his son, Clark, noted several accomplishments contributing to Bruce Lauritzen’s legacy there. During his 55-year career there, FNBO expanded into six additional states and build FNBO Business Park and the First National Tower in Omaha. He also ensured that the bank was “well positioned for the future,” with members of the family remaining actively involved in the First National of Nebraska board. “Bruce ensured that FNBO would remain privately-owned during many difficult times in the banking industry and gracefully transitioned FNBO to the 6th generation of family leadership,” Clark Lauritzen said in the release.

Yes, great show and some of the most classic interactions with Larry involved Richard Lewis. In fact, the very first episode with Richard set a great standard for what was to come. "The Bracelet" (episode 4) featuring their childish rivalry also for me has to be a top 5-10 episode of the series.
The University of Nebraska community is mourning the death of "one of the most transformative donors" in the history of the university. Bill Scott died on Tuesday at the age of 93. He and his wife Ruth were both University of Nebraska graduates and have been invested in the Omaha community throughout their lives.
