I was thinking that maybe MoO would be hesitant to do anything significant with that lot, as they wouldn't want to block view from their tower. But then I remembered that the first 14 floors will be mostly parking, so they could put a pretty big building (or a few buildings) on that lot without blocking a ton of value.

has anyone had trouble viewing the webcam from OPL_demolition? I can only seem to come up with January 31st and older

Still can't believe that Mutual doesn't have a construction cam yet. Hopefully they will get on by this summer when work will really start to take off visually.

when i was driving home the other day, they were in between raising the west half of the forms to the next level. I was hoping to find a picture of it cause it looked really cool

Did anyone ever find out if a model is available for the new Mutual tower ? Would love to see a picture of it. This is from a building built back in the 80’s in downtown Kansas City I found on the internet. Maybe they don’t do models much anymore, it’s a thing of the past possibly.

Also the parking structure does appear to be using pre-fab panels. Someone earlier said that it wouldn't but I didn't think on a project with this timeline that sounded right. You can see near the 1:40 mark that they are in fact installing pre-fab for the parking ramp.

Those are not prefab concrete panels. Concreted decking will be poured over them once the rebar has been set. Those panel then will be reused over and over as the structure climbs

It seems like a lot of times they do a few floors before they take the first floor down. So the forms from the first floor would be used again on the 4 the or 5th floor. I think the parking garage in the Blackstone is going that way.

Another level of the core was poured yesterday.

On top of the state building is what looks like a tripod for a web cam. Not sure if that was there for the park or being setup for the MoO tower or nothing at all.

We drove by yesterday. Kids thought it was cool seeing the cranes in action. It's been a while since I last saw it in person, so was kind of surprised how tall this core structure is already.

Maybe it’s a fuzzy memory or maybe it’s the agreeable weather, but it DOES feel like it’s going up faster than the FNB Tower did.
