So Grow Omaha is Reporting its called Bush House. Wonder if this is another Borgata/Brickway or Goldenrod/Farnam House situation?
Grow Omaha Market Report wrote:Bush House, a new local brewery, has leased a 5,669 sq. ft. bay at 6115 Maple Street in Benson, according to Brian Thomas of NAI NP Dodge. The space had been occupied by Infusion Brewery, which will maintain its current locations in La Vista and at The Crescent Moon in the Blackstone District.

Aaron's been wearing B5 shirts for the last couple of months... So that's always been their intended name. All 5 Bush family members will be working there in some capacity.Brad wrote: Thu Dec 21, 2023 11:01 pm So Grow Omaha is Reporting its called Bush House. Yes, he has said they that the Nebraska Liquor control board has said something about being careful with trademark infringement and that they'd need to clear being distributed with a name close to AB's trademarks with them before allowing it.

I was walking down the isle at Lowe's this afternoon and hear someone say to me "Shouldn't you be somewhere drinking beer?" I look up and it was Aaron from B5. LOL

Got a sneak peak of B5 Brewing yesterday. Same layout as before, different paint and wood finishes. Just waiting on the Liquor License at this point, but hoping for a late March or early April opening. (he was hoping to be open by St Patrick's Day, but that's not going to happen).

I’m excited for this. Benson has Benson Brewery but nothing extraordinary for breweries on the strip, hope this is the one!

Opens April 5th, 2024 at 3pm
B5 Brewing wrote:The moment you’ve all been waiting for is finally here. Our grand opening is April 5th, doors open at 3 pm. Tell your mom, your grandma, your neighbors, anyone who will listen. Make sure your tummies are full of food so as to not get too drunk before getting a taste of every beer we’ll have on tap!
We are so very excited to finally get our doors open and to see all your beautiful faces drinking and (hopefully) enjoying the beer that we’ve put all our love and passion into. April 5th can’t come soon enough!

For those of you that have not heard, Aaron Bush has been diagnosed with ALS / Lou Gehrig's disease
There is a fundraiser next Sunday 2/23. Also, many of the local breweries are brewing "Iron Horse" as another fundraiser. See the link below for details.

Supporting One of Our Own: A Community United for Aaron Bush

When a beloved member of our community faces a sudden, life-altering challenge, we do what we do best - we come together. No one embodies that spirit of support and camaraderie better than the Nebraska Craft Beer Community.
If you've been part of Nebraska Craft Beer in any capacity, for any length of time, you’ve likely crossed paths with Aaron. Perhaps he brewed your favorite beer, mentored you as you entered the industry, or shared countless laughs over a pint (or a few). One thing is certain: knowing Aaron - having the privilege to call him a friend - leaves a lasting mark.
That’s why his ALS diagnosis is such a profound blow, not just for Aaron and his incredible family, but for all of us who have been touched by his kindness, passion, and friendship. In true craft beer fashion, our community is rallying around him the best way we know how—by brewing for a cause, Aaron’s cause.
