Nebraska Baseball rolls past South Alabama

Brett Sears’ third-straight quality start and four long balls fueled Nebraska to a 13-2 victory over against South Alabama at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park.

Huskers pummel Colonels in 16-0 rout on Saturday

Nebraska picked up its largest win since 2019 with a dominant 16-0 rout against Nicholls on Saturday afternoon at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park.

Huskers recognize Alex Gordon for College Baseball Hall of Fame Honors

Nebraska Baseball recognized Alex Gordon for being inducted into the College Baseball Hall of Fame in 2024 by having him throw out the first pitch ahead of Nebraska playing New Mexico State. Nebraska defeated New Mexico State 14 to 2 behind a great outing on the mound from Brett Sears.

gave up way too many unearned runs last night. Watched on ESPN+ (video quality and commentary was marginal at best) Despite all that did not go well they still had runners on and the chance to tie or win in the 9th.

Huskers Drop Series at Rutgers

Nebraska (23-10, 6-3 Big Ten) scored four runs on nine hits and an error, while Rutgers (22-13, 3-6 Big Ten) totaled six runs on 10 hits.

Nebraska returns to action with a midweek tilt vs. Creighton at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park on Tuesday, April 16. First pitch between the Huskers and Bluejays is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.

NU Board of Regents approve alcohol sales for Husker baseball, softball games at Haymarket Park

University of Nebraska Board of Regents met Friday to approve several items, including whether to permit alcohol sales at Haymarket Park for Husker baseball and softball games. The Board voted 9-2 to approve alcohol sales at Haymarket Park for University events, effective immediately. Interim President Chris Kabourek and Husker Athletic Director Troy Dannen have reached an agreement with NEBCO, which jointly owns Haymarket Park with the University, for revenue sharing. Under the agreement, all revenue from alcohol sales will be reinvested back into the Haymarket Park stadium, which is over 20 years old and in need of capital improvements, the NU System wrote in a press release.

Huskers Trample Terps, Win Weekend Baseball Series

After a dismal 11-2 loss the night before, Nebraska baseball bounced back Sunday afternoon, defeating the Maryland Terrapins 16-4 in seven innings at Haymarket Park in Lincoln. With the victory and Friday night's 6-3 win, NU picked up its third Big Ten series win of the season, moving its record to 25-12 overall and 8-4 in conference play.

Nebraska’s eight-game homestand continues with a nonconference contest Tuesday against Kansas and a three-game conference series starting Friday night against Iowa.
