I believe all three goals UNO gave up were off turnovers. The last one with about 4 minutes to go was rough. UNO had possession was skating out of the zone when the puck carrier fell. Minnesota quickly pounced and scored.

I took my son up to the game on Thursday. It was a really odd game as far as turnovers, skating, and bad bounces. Both teams seem to have several players fall and a lot of bad bounces.

Sad to see that group of players loose, but overall it was a really good game. Fun to watch until the end.

Might have been an up and down trip, but I highly recommend taking your son to the Falls up there. We went several times before we did and once we did our boys loved them. Nothing else like them in the midwest.

Bremer Set to Return for Fifth Year

Omaha forward Brock Bremer is set to return to the Mavericks for a fifth year. The Forest Lake, Minnesota native is coming off his best season in a Maverick sweater. Bremer netted eight goals and added 12 helpers for a career high 20-point campaign. He lit the lamp in four of the final five games of the season and recorded his first career four-game goal streak. His goals in games two and three of the NCHC Playoffs were both game winners.
