We were curious about the tallest buildings outside of downtown.

Great footage as always. Nice to highlight some other buildings outside of downtown.

Yeah I agree, great video, thanks for sharing. Love that opening brief clip of the blackstone area.

for #6, Omaha tower, was that Commercial Federal's HQ at one point? I grew up north and east of there and for some reason remember Commercial attached to it, though I remember Tower Travel having their HQ there as well.

I also don't know what existed here before Travel and Transport. I do remember going to a dentist in this building once, maybe 12 years ago.

It was built as Commercial Federal Tower and was later occupied by Travel and Transport.

Thanks for this informative video. I love how the Elmwood tower sits on a hill and shows up so well when viewed from the west, looking taller than it actually is. Especially at 90th and Dodge and 120th and W. Center. Great video !

It's hard to imagine another construction project threatening Elmwood tower's reign as the tallest outside of downtown.

What are the odds that just days after saying this, there is a news story released about the med center wanting building a new tower that is taller

Perhaps a developer saw this thread and said "hold my beer". :) I hope it happens, even though it would make my video obsolete.
