150 Acres purchased by "Sarpy Health Development LLC". Perfect placement for the expected future I80 interchange access. And they REALLY wanted that land - $100k/acre for undeveloped farmland. That's crazy steep pricing.
Who's putting up a new hospital? CHI? Methodist? Nebraska Med? Will Bryan try and break into the Omaha market?

Re: 192nd and Capehart
I was thinking more about this after our conversation the other day. I mentioned to you the rumors I was hearing was a new hospital (Believe CHI, but may have been NE Med) on the south side of 370, not Capehart.
My new thought is that Capehart makes a lot of sense if they build a new interstate exit on 192nd & Capehart. It makes almost no sense if they don't build that exit.

Is CHI still planning their hospital on the south side of 370 across from the HyVee?
I've also heard rumors floating around of a Target store somewhere near that same area. Makes sense... Gretna doesn't have one and there really isn't anywhere "in" Gretna that could accommodate a store of that size. I'd much rather see a Target out there than a WalMart, which they technically call the one at the I80 exit a Gretna store anyway.

Looks like the address listed for the LLC is 3333 Farnam Street in Omaha. Nebraska Med has offices in that building.Ben wrote: Mon Aug 19, 2024 8:18 am 150 Acres purchased by "Sarpy Health Development LLC". Perfect placement for the expected future I80 interchange access.
