We’ve visited their KCMO location and the line of customers stretched down the street. The ice cream flavors definitely reflect “outside the box” thinking.

Betty Rae’s Ice Cream Opening Second Location

Betty Rae’s Ice Cream will open a second Omaha location at 595 North 155th Plaza. That’s near Karma Coffee in Pepperwood Village. Omaha-based franchisee Zach Molacek also owns the Betty Rae’s shop at 6307 Center Street near Aksarben Village. Started in Kansas City, Betty Rae’s sells hand-made, hand-scooped ice cream with 26 core flavors. The west Omaha store will be the eighth location overall.
I work near their first location and live near their second. I haven't tried it yet, but I will probably remain loyal to Tipico Helado near home until Coneflower opens out in Elkhorn.
