I seriously doubt that they’ll lose every game from here on out.

Superstitious as it may be, the all whites seem cursed. It's like the opposite of LSU's thing about the purple jerseys.

I don't see Nebraska beating anyone but UCLA on the rest of this schedule. Ain't no way.

Wow, what a debacle. I couldn't have been more wrong. I honestly did not see us getting reamed by anybody but Ohio state. This could spell trouble. May just be lucky enough to beat UCLA. Ya know, I was just kidding when I said they could still end up 5-7. Right now it looks like that's what they're trying for.

Attention Troy Dannen: Curt Cignetti just kicked your team's arse with half the talent. His salary is $4.2 million.

I just watched Tennessee upset Alabama 24-17. I know it has nothing to do with Nebraska, but I just thought some people on here might need some cheering up.

I guess any mutual beating up across the board could help Nebraska, sort of.

Nebraska ain't doing jack sh1t nationally though. The goal is 6 wins. I'll cross my fingers they can do that. Today did not inspire confidence in reaching that goal.

There was one moment when Nebraska was close to the end zone, facing a 4th down and they went for it. I didn't think that was a good idea. They should've just kicked a field goal. It may not have been what they were going for, but at least they would've had more points on the board. Instead of only 7, they would've had 10.

I Cannot handle another 5-7 season. Best chance for a 6th win will be against UCLA or Iowa, nobody wants to wait till the Iowa game, so the UCLA game will be huge.

Want some more uplifting news? Georgia upset Texas 30-15. Texas was ranked #1 going into the game, but they won't be tomorrow.

I think it’s absolutely inexcusable for the coaches to be getting paid what they do for the results they have and to come out and say that you didn’t expect anything like the game turned out is complete bs. The players need to play better but the coaches need to be held accountable.

Except Iowa suddenly has an offense. There's no way Iowa will be anything but a heavy favorite in that game. That said, I'd rather beat Iowa more than get to a bowl game. It's about all that's left this season.

Honestly who cares about getting to the "mouth of the rat" bowl or Pop-Tart bowl!?

At least Rhule said this is on me, but I agree. How do you not see this coming when there's no running game, your receivers can't block, your O.C. keeps calling plays that haven't worked all season and the coaching staff overall can't make positive half time adjustments. Nebraska is getting well scouted by opposing coaching staffs and generally out-coached by lesser talent.

If Rhule wants to keep his name out of buyout conversations he needs to be more hands on with his coordinators and dictate better strategies and philosophies...starting with Satterfield's play calling and mess of an offense.

I wouldn’t say that. Outside of their rb they have nothing. Their qb is terrible so if you just load the box and make them try to beat you with the passing game you can win. You also need to play smart against them. Limit turnovers and stupid penalties, they don’t beat themselves often but if NE can take away their run game, Huskers should win.

I doubt that too among the powers that be but there will be much chatter for such among Husker Nation if the rest of the season goes like Indiana.

Well, not one I was looking forward to, even before the Indiana loss. But let's look at it - OSU is favored by 25.5, and the over/under is 48.5. That's a pretty big spread, but will they take it that easy on us? Will the Skers score? Will you watch? I like that it's an 11am game, that way once it quickly gets out of hand, I can get on with my day. I'll be happy if it isn't a complete embarrassment, OSU doesn't pull its starters before the first half is over. Maybe I'm being dramatic and overreacting...

Pessimistic OSU 70-7
Optimistic OSU 42-7

Ohio State 52
Neb 14

They need a more spirited performance today, so far their best game this season has been the first half against Colorado, which seems like a while ago. Maybe Indiana’s just that good.

Good to see them wearing red pants again. I was scratching my head last week when they went with all white. It's a well known Husker superstition that the all whites are cursed. I was curious what their record is in all white, it's 7-14. Red pants aren't going to help em any today, I just loled that the curse came to fruition last week and Rhule experienced it the first time. Never again.

Hey, still 0-0, call me surprised already. Still a lot of game left, but I expected it to be 14-0 by now.

Wow, the refs just fuked the Skers big time. Got the first down by at least a yard, got called short. Then called offensive pass interference for nothing. Sh1t like that makes you wonder. Sweet 56 yard field goal by John Huhl! 14-6. Not too shabby.

We have a kicker! :;): That young man is singlehandedly keeping the Skers in the game! 14-9. I really thought I would have lost interest in this game two hours ago. Shoot, hold OSU and get two more field goals, that's 15-14.

Game's over. Nebraska lost 21-17. At least they actually battled hard and didn't get blown out and go down like a wet paper airplane like they did against Indiana last week.

I loved the fight. They didn't have just A chance to win, but a few chances. They probably should have won. They controlled the game. Save that last touchdown drive by OSU where the Skers fell asleep, the Huskers should have won. I know they say moral victories mean nothing, but this is a strong moral victory. I'm totally surprised and satisfied. A complete 180 from last week.
