Soil sampling means prepping for site prep is underway. IE the med center is spending $50 million to make sure they can actually do this expansion and if for whatever reason it’s a no, there’s still an easy off ramp before spending $1.2 billion.

The tower crane is for the garage. There is a crawler crane setting steel for the admin building.

I just noticed that there were 2 houses on the south side of Leavenworth that have also been demolished. Just looked them up and they were owned by the Univ too. I didn't realize they were buying houses on that side too.

They announced earlier this week they will tear down 4 houses on the south side of Leavenworth. In the meantime all the properties they tear down on both sides of Leavenworth are to be landscaped.

Which expansion? Are you talking about Project Health? I thought they were not at that point yet to start contracting for construction.

No problem. The only reason I never merged the two together is the fact its more of a mixed use development being developed by the hospital, rather than actual hospital development.

Great shot Brad , you can see the new Hampton Inn on the far left side of the picture. A lot of good density in the Med-Center/Blackstone area. Especially for a metro of our size.

I see lied tower, it just looks more rectangular in this rendering than it does in reality.
