Even so Leavenworth is building up to be strong corridor. What I get annoyed about is lack of bike parking. So a limited number of residences get car parking. if you choose to not have a car, you can haul your bike up 3 floors to your tiny studio apartment. I think all parking garages need to be mixed mode. It wouldn't take much to take up 3-4 stalls to throw up double tier racks for bikes.

There is a bike room in the garage on these plans. I would guess there is one in pretty much every new build nowadays. Pretty cheap way to use some dead space and name it in your amenity package.

And anything a little safer than just a rack is nice. Bikes are de-prioritized almost everywhere so it's nice to have a touch at least of security.

As mentioned in Grow Omaha, the Family Dollar building is no more.

There is no more positive development than tearing down a Family Dollar or Dollar General.
