We traveled to Lawrence for those two matches. For the Purdue match, it was pretty cool to see so many Creighton fans and students. Creighton students came on a large bus. CU has three starters from Kansas, so there were also quite a few relatives and former club and high school teammates there to watch them.

This week's rankings came out and Creighton is now ranked 6th, which is the highest in program history after being ranked 7th several years ago.

CU looking to continue their unbeaten streak today at Sokol

Big win for Creighton today as they played well and beat Big East rival Marquette in a match televised nationally on Fox Sports this afternoon. This is CU's second win against Marquette this season and gives the Jays at 2-game lead with only a few matches left to play.

Side Note: We'll never see another player like setter Kendra Wait again.

We were at the Big East Tournament, and looking forward to the NCAA tourney beginning Thursday at 7. It's the last run for Kendra Wait and Norah Sis.

First game didn't go so well; they let Texas walk right back in the door. Hopefully they can maintain their lead in the second set and tie things back up. Huge test this afternoon.

What a great match by Creighton tonight vs penn st. Ended up losing in 5 but they looked good all night except the last game.

Yep, great effort by the team. That last set was a rough one.

Though, like Rob Anderson posted last night, the VB squad lost three games all season. Each of those losses went to five sets and each to a team currently in the final four. Any suggestion that they were a Cinderella team is laughable.
