Should be 21-0 or 16-0 Nebraska. Instead Nebraska likes to keep it interesting just 13-2 midway through the 3rd qtr. BC continues to hang around, think they watched the Neb/Iowa games. Nebraska defense is the difference in this game, can’t ask for them to do much more. Entire defense deserves game ball if they can win this.

TOUCHDOWN! Nebraska extends its lead 20-2 with 3 minutes left in the third quarter. Finally some points!

Game's over. Nebraska won 20-15. Boston College tried to come back, but Nebraska was able to hold on and win. So they finish the season overall at 7-6.

Never thought I would be happy with Nebraska winning 7 games in a season. Shows how bad we’ve been. Could not handle another losing season. Big win for Nebraska something to build off of during the offseason.

Texted with a friend who flew out to go to the game. Said Nebraska fans out numbered BC by 10-1 margin.

After millions spent on the football program over the past 8 years and several head coaches, finally a winning season. Feels strange to me. Just got so used to losing.

Happy for the win. Finishing with a winning record, I think, is important for building a “winning mentality” going in to 2025.. Especially considering this team SHOULD have won 3 more games this season..

One top priority, for sure, is the Huskers NEED to find a competent place kicker for next season.. They HAVE to…

GBR…

And yet it still generates large profits and one of few big time programs with zero debt.

Toward the end when Boston College scored that touchdown and shrunk Nebraska's lead by only 5, I got nervous. I was afraid they might come back and win it. But thankfully, Nebraska held on and won.

I do think this was a meaningful swing game. We'd be saying the opposite story had they lost. Yeah, it's just a "meaningless bowl game" but it sure meant a world of positive going into the off-season.

Great to finally win a one-score game and end the season with some momentum

Don't kid yourself. That was a four score game they won by 5 points.
Stable genius.

Well, I must say this has been quite a season. It didn’t meet my expectations, but I’ll take a winning record.

They met my low expectations, just barely. I guarantee Rhule was sweating that bowl game, as THAT win bought him out a whole off season of negative questions. A lot of shoulddas left out there. I don't necessarily feel like i have high expectations for next year either, just don't regress. This year was still better than any of the last eight. That just shows how bad its been. So whoopty frickin doo!

I thought it was really important for Nebraska to win the bowl game, it will make for a much more pleasant off season. Boston College wasn’t that good of a team and Nebraska looked like the better team except for some breakdowns in the 4th quarter. Rhule Gets some breathing room and won’t be hounded by the media as much with negative talk. 7-9 wins is about the best you can ask Nebraska to do these days. I’ll take 7 again next year, just no losing seasons for a while. Let’s try and string together back to back winning seasons which would be fantastic.
