Interesting. We stopped in there about 7 or 8 weeks ago for lunch on a Saturday and the place was rather dead. I know they used to have one of the most popular happy hours in town and dinner service was always a wait to be seated, so I was surprised at their poor lunch turnout. Though, I'm not enough of a regular to know if that was abnormal. On this most recent visit, the kitchen staff were bantering a little too loud. There's nothing like sitting in a booth with your family while one cook shouts to another, "Shut the f*ck up, Tony." It was all playful bantering, but still wildly inappropriate. I think it sort of peaked in the late 00s/early 10s.

Johnny's is becoming a Hot pot and Korean BBQ place. Kona is also going to be Hot pot. Ancho and Agave will close and become a fusion mexican hot pot place. Old Navy is also going to be a hot pot and clothes retailer.

We went last year and the place was dead. For two adults and one kid the total came to $130. A few weeks later we went to Blue and had slightly more food and drinks for $60. It was sad to see as 10 years ago you had to get their early to get a seat on the patio for happy hour.

Overpriced. Poor Service. Food not great. From day one.

Not surprised.

Went there for a holiday dinner and they had special holiday pricing which was substantially higher than their normal menu. Felt they were really struggling.

This is just a random memory of the place, but a couple friends and I in our twenties got hammered there in 2008, and then attempted to watch a James Bond movie at Village Point Cinema afterwards. It was a fever dream to say the least. We saw Quantum of Solace sober at another theater weeks later, and the movie made so much more sense, lol.
