I agree, between the floors going up on the core and the steel rising showing the true width of the building and the glass going in, it is rapidly changing. Also doesn’t hurt that its now visible from nearly everywhere in the metro.

4/18: 13 floors

Based on previous est, the building would be around 493 ft.
From Hwy 34 and 10th St in Bellevue last night, the Woodmen is still significantly higher.

Yes it prob would. As Brad posted before:

Tower, Ground Elevation, Feet Above Mutual
Mutual = 1038' - (+0')
FNBO = 1045' - (+7')
Woodman = 1089' - (+51')

Also Garrett shared this:
Union Pacific: 1,347
Current Mutual of Omaha HQ: 1,461
Elmwood Tower: 1,510
Project Health: 1,528
Woodmen: 1,578
FNBO: 1,684
New Mutual Tower: 1,707

So even after it’s topped off it will only be about 130’ taller than the woodmen elevation wise but actually nearly 200’ taller.

Was downtown last night for a show. Decided to go up to the top level of the garage I was parked at and grab a pic.

Kinda makes you wonder/wish somewhere more around 26th street was a desirable location, being at the crest of that hill. Not that 14th is bad, but it is down in the well.

From the west the mutual tower will look similar to FNBO. It won’t tower over everything else like the Devon tower in OKC, I’m fine with that.

Today they are putting steel on the 31st and 32nd floors on top of where the elevator shaft shrunk. Wonder why they would jump up there and do that small area?

There’s also glass now going up on the south side of the building.

I assume that once the concrete portion of the elevator shaft is up, maybe 2 more floors, they will want to have the steel portion up high enough for the next tie-back to the crane.

Thats a good call on the tie-back to the crane. I was wondering how that would work. They probably still at least 1-2 more times to raise the crane.

At first I didn't know what you meant by "local resident", but then I remembered what it was like when I worked in the Landmark building.

It’s kinda cool how the mass of the parking garage just blends in with all the other buildings.

I figured those would be some of the last to go in being so close to where they’re staging steel.

It's great to see the core rising faster now.

Should be around 38 by the end of the month, and topped out by the end of August at this rate! (Just the core, of course.)

Here is an interesting angle of the tower's construction. What's most noticeable in the picture is that it is up to 36 floors now!

Just wondering...how can something be "official" when it's based on an estimate?
It’s now safe to say that it is at 500 ft. If you do the math: 677/44= each floor would be just under 15.5ft (although the garage floors are probably much shorter since they don't include mechanical and the top 2 floors are probably going to be a little bigger based on the renderings) I've been using about 17ft/floor since this began and even readjusted once the Lanoha story came out with the height midway through. It is at least 500 ft now if not taller. With only 8 more floors to go, it is safe to say that we have less than 177 ft remaining.

Love it! That is almost exactly the same angle of the print of yours that I have hanging on my wall. I can't wait to get an updated one once the tower is complete! Even with just the Luminarium finished (also the playground), the area looks totally different than it did just a few years ago.
