UCLA just defeated Murray State 6-4 in Game 3. So UCLA advances while Murray State is forced into an elimination game.

LSU just beat Arkansas 4-1 in Game 4. So LSU will move on and face UCLA in Game 5 while Arkansas will face Murray State in an elimination game. Both games are on Monday.

Arkansas just defeated UCLA 7-3. So UCLA is eliminated from the College World Series. Arkansas will face LSU in Bracket 2.

Coastal Carolina defeated Louisville 11-3 earlier today. So they will advance to the CWS Finals. They now await their opponent. Either Arkansas or LSU.

Definitely rooting for Coastal Carolina. I was there when they won in 2016 and was big time heckling the Arizona players on that day. Almost caught a home run ball. The stadium erupted when CCU threw the game sealing pitch, they deserve another one with how they've rolled this year.

Murray St head coach Dan Skirka was being pursued by Duke and likely others to move on after the success they have had.

He has signed a four year extension to stay at Murry St and will be the highest paid in the Missouri Valley Conf. Contracts are always broken but looks like he will be back for a while. Be interesting to see what the team does next season

Not unpopular at all. LSU has been here and won enough. I'm rooting Coastal all the way.

Side note, I'll never forget one of my first CWS experiences. LSU was there, I don't remember which year, but I might have been 15 tops. Looking back, I should have taken the opportunity lol. But I was just a good boy back then. There was a bunch of pretty, blonde, drunk, probably late teens, early 20's LSU fan girls, with their titty beads, booty shorts, tank tops. Totally drunkenly hitting on me, touching me, etc. I was just uncomfortable at the time. DRATS. Now that I'm in my 30's, I couldn't pay for that to happen again lol.

Well, LSU did it again. They won the College World Series for the 8th time. So they're the national champions again. It's party time in Baton Rouge.

It was a great victory and I’m happy for LSU and their great fans who travel to Omaha every year for the CWS whether the Tigers make it or not..

The only thing I wished for, was a third game..for even more revenue and exposure for the city …

Looks like Rocco's is taking their Jello Shot challenge on the road this weekend to Baton Rouge for the LSU / Florida Game

BATON ROUGE — Rocco's, the Omaha bar best known for its annual Jell-O shot competition that LSU fans has won several times, is coming to Baton Rouge this weekend.

Rocco's on the Road is coming to Fred's Bar in Tigerland from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ahead of the LSU-Florida game at 6:30 p.m. on WBRZ Channel 2.

Proceeds from the Rocco's visit will go to the Baton Rouge Food Bank.
