Park fair mall all gone. Actually back in the 80’s it wasn’t a bad little urban mall, it just didn’t get enough foot traffic to survive.

Really like those last pics to see the difference of the CPP buildings with the new windows and penthouse portion side by side.

Wonder what they're doing to that wall with all those plates they're attaching. They almost look like lentils as if they're going to open up that wall, but I doubt it. Maybe attachment points for the garage?

Neat how this lines up height wise with the skylobby of MoO...

I think this community level will be awesome once the Mutual's garden terrace is in place and mature. I was always worried with the parking garage that Duo's park views are getting covered, but the rooftop gardens will pretty much act like an extension of the mall (at least from up high).

I read in the OWH The Mill coffee will be opening in the old Starbucks location in this building.
They’ll offer cocktails like the midtown one as well. Crossing fingers for those late hours like the midtown one too!
Opening date is set for 2027 timeframe

The one on Leavenworth is consistently busy, so this should be a great addition DT.Jins123 wrote: Fri Jul 18, 2025 5:47 pm I read in the OWH The Mill coffee will be opening in the old Starbucks location in this building.

Thanks for posting.
I wonder if this will hover over the highest floors of the Duo, or just over the area/adjacent building that will be constructed?

I would have to think for the arm to be long enough to reach the whole site it would have to be above the existing structure but?

NuStyle is killing it. I wish they did every project in town..haha. It's amazing how quickly they are moving on this project and how important it is to this area.

This tower crane probably won't be too visible from a lot of angles I imagine?

As much as the conversion of the south tower overall looks great there’s one detail that bothers me a little. Anyone else notice how much the black siding looks almost suspiciously like the Burger Detour siding?

Well maybe they'll get it cheap for the north tower now that a bunch more recently became available.nebport5 wrote: Tue Aug 05, 2025 9:06 am As much as the conversion of the south tower overall looks great there’s one detail that bothers me a little. Or maybe already did since that 3rd location was never completed.Louie wrote: Tue Aug 05, 2025 9:08 amWell maybe they'll get it cheap for the north tower now that a bunch more recently became available.nebport5 wrote: Tue Aug 05, 2025 9:06 am As much as the conversion of the south tower overall looks great there’s one detail that bothers me a little. The tower crane is a little taller than the Brandeis building right now and there are 5 or 6 more segments on site. Probably won’t be visible from a ton of angles but will be cool to have another crane up downtown.

I dont have a photo, but the view coming into downtown on 480 N from I-80 looks amazing with the new tower crane, even though it's smaller than alot of the buildings around it.

I wonder if those apartments on the lower back side will be cheaper than the rest since it seems like the only view they will have is of a parking garage. Can't imagine much if any natural light getting into those units.Brad wrote: Thu Aug 07, 2025 10:05 pm Photo Update. I noticed between Brad's photo on 7/27 and skinzfan23's photo on 8/25, they have removed the windows on the top floor of the north tower. Its really coming along.
