Marrow Restaurant (180 & Hwy 370)

Didn't find this mentioned elsewhere, so starting this.

Marrow opened near Gretna on Sept 2 at Griffin Pointe.
This is next to where Rally Coffee opened and then closed, and now the Beanery is in that location.

They are part of the group that has Railcar Modern American Kitchen, Timber Wood Fire Bistro, and Pasta Amore.

Looks like a pretty nice upsace menu. A couple of people that I personally know have been there this week, and they have nothing but good things to say

Well shoot, I can get a couple marrow bones at Family Fare and make some stock, or cook em in the oven for a few dollars. I like bone marrow, but to up it like its a delicacy... Very, uh, interesting up-selling point. But hey, if you buy it, you buy it. I personally would never spend more than 3 bucks on some bone marrow spread on a piece or two of bread. Worth nothing more than a can of potted meat and some crackers.

Ah, well, that was apparently too offensive for em too, so I had nowhere else to post for a couple days

Really though, if just looking at bone marrow objectively, it's like the final frontier of a cow's carcass. Its tastey, and its very good for you, but it's the last thing you can salvage from the animal. Not exactly a filet mignon.

It'd be like if I were to open a posh restaurant that specializes in chicken feet. No? Like I said, if you buy it, you buy it.

The restaurant group has a strong pedigree, but the name they have chosen for this new outpost is, in my opinion, equal parts odd and off-putting.
Given its distant location I doubt I will have good enough reason to visit it. But I wish them well.

Meant to review this place after I went. It was delicious across the board. Highly recommend if its in your price range.
