Re: Toast (Aksarben Village)
Toast has really grown. I love that a number of restaurants are using it and I can link them all together under the Local by Toast app on my phone. It makes reordering from favorite restaurants very easy and their ordering system is pretty slick. Does anyone know how big the local Toast office in Omaha has gotten? Is it just a local sales office?

Last I had heard they had actually scaled back some of their operations here and they never had anything more than sales and some back office here.
They're a company that mostly hires remote, so Omaha doesn't have any advantage or disadvantage in terms of hiring high-paying jobs, it's just a function of the size of our talent pool.

They scaled back during the pandemic for obvious reasons. Was there another scale-back after that?riceweb wrote: Wed Oct 01, 2025 1:23 pm Last I had heard they had actually scaled back some of their operations here and they never had anything more than sales and some back office here.
