When I saw this police car, I couldn't help smile with glee on how well it was done, thank you Brad, that was good advertisement to locals. We appreciate the little things, details like this evoke feelings that the persons behind are detailed in show casing our future.

I've been seen your work Brad in the past few weeks and I have to say I am greatful for all the unique angles and color tones and uniques perspectives we can see here from your pictures, they give another perspective, those flyover photos are great shots and I enjoyed seeing your Construction update.

Youtubers have been relying on outdated video flybies from parking lot jungle downtown days before 2016, on their stock footage websites they pay a license, its all antiquated flybyes.

I don't know what you are allowed in publishing flybies Brad but there are several stock footage websites that your entity could consider in licensing to stock site.

Then pow! expect youtuber to use updated Airiels of downtown Omaha!

Spotted a police vehicle, with a composite image that includes the Mutual of Omaha tower. Nice overlay
Yep, that’s my photo. It’s very distinctive because it has the flood water from 2019 and the Ferris wheel from Santa Lucia Festival in it. It’s one of the architectural renderings that the towers architect made back in the beginning.

I need to get my old Canon T2i out and take some better quality pictures instead of rough ones with my cell phone. Regardless, here’s another shot from 96th and Q area.

Any idea why the right side looks different? Is that going to be for signage or something?

^^ I don't recall seeing it in any renderings, but that looks like mounting for signage. I'd guess it looks like this logo/name.

I like that view cause of the continuity. You'd never think the VA could be part of the skyline. From that view, you'd think they're all together. Also, the hills in between make the buildings all appear on the same ground and much smaller than they are.

I agree.

I’d like to take this pic again with a nice zoom lens to really get more detail and depth.

If you can catch that next fall when all the trees are colorful, the building is done, with that red structure in the foreground, that would be pure gold.

You can tell in that pic what I've been talking about with the lighting on the Woodmen. Its not very bright and only appears that part of it is working.

I've been wanting to get a photo of the tower and crane in the fog. I got a sweet photo of the FNBO tower in the fog about 20 years ago and haven't got the new tower yet.

If anybody has time to catch the full supermoon rise shot I was talking about, the moon rise is at 4:22 and 53° north, so man, some of those vantage points we talked about to the southwest would be perfect. I'd love to catch it myself, but I just can't figure a good spot I can get to in time. Or it may be too cloudy and too cold, hard to say. But if its convenient for anybody, it'd be a killer pic.

Here's a low resolution screen grab from channel 3's city camera. The curved is really pronounced now. It will be interesting to see the curved glass start to go in. I would assume it will start on this next row (If it didn't already start a floor or two below).

The difference in a fall from 50' vs 677' is primarily the slight difference in time taking to get to the ground. The end result has a high probability of being the same

I wonder how easy it is to find people to operate those cranes at that height. I’m sure they get paid very well. Definitely a unique skill.

Grabbed a quick shot while being stuck in traffic at 38th and Dodge. Man… it’s so cool to see the progress of this tower climbing it’s way up the skyline.

Side note: I can’t really explain it, but does it feel like the MoO tower has been in our skyline for years? I mean, it “technically” has once it started to rise above other buildings. And it has been a few years since it was announced so the new factor has kind of worn off. It just naturally flows in the skyline and for some reason it’s kind of hard to remember what it was like before. Not that hard, but, y’know.
