My son had a hockey tournament here this weekend. This place was great! He has played at over dozen arenas around the Midwest in the past two years, and this was all around the best.

We also heard while we were there, they are building a third sheet of ice soon, which will include 4000 seats.

I drive by it going to work out at Jordan Creek, my jaw dropped when I first saw it. That area is going to fill up in the next couple of years with a proposed indoors water park.

Don’t think the waterpark here is getting built anytime soon. Bellevue’s will probably get done first if they ever start construction. The waterpark here prob won’t even start construction for at least a few more years. I hope they both get built but neither is moving at a fast pace.

We made our first of two trips to Des Moines for hockey this year. They have completed the new parking lot and now started on the new arena/3rd sheet of ice. This is still by far the best complex in the Midwest.
