I liked the original guy and the second... I noticed they changed to a different "Boss" about 1-2 years ago which, IMO, wasn't that great. They don't even show him in the teaser.

Obviously this new "Boss" is younger... they should have gotten Thiessen to do it. LOL Although I'm not sure where he stands with the company at this time. I remember he opened his own store on the SW corner of 180th & Dodge where the Meatball strip, but it didn't last. I was disappointed to see that happen considering he built Godfather's into the success it became.

I never see commercials so I didn't realize they had started to replace Dale. I used to see him periodically at the office when I worked at the HQ. Got a few messages left on my voicemail for birthdays and anniversaries that I still have.

Billy Koll (the original Godfather) was from Templeton, IA. And if you know anything about Templeton, you know about Templeton Rye and the legend that it was Al Capone's favorite bootleg whiskey.

Cool! My daughter and I met the second one 17 years ago at Vala's. As you can see, she was shy haha . Note in his left hand, he has "deals you can't refuse" (a stack of Godfather's coupons).

My wife and I saw him again a few years ago at the Godfather's at Aksarben. Pulled up this pic and told him she is now in high school and laughed and said, "Well look at that!"
