I wanted to believe these individuals were genuine, but there was always something strange about them. I have become skeptical of speculative property developments because of folks like these guys, Townsend, Minard, and others. Some may now even consider me a cynic.

How was the bar? Heard they recently did a remodel / rebranding... Wasn't up there to experience v1 to know if v2 was an upgrade...
Really good. They added a glass wall of the west side to stop the wind that comes in strong there and they now expect to be open 9 months a year. They also added a fireplace and electric heaters. They also have a happy hour now.

If we really end up getting this development that should ideally be built at 180th and dodge, I'm going to be insanely upset. This will effectively end the skylines growth to the north for decades if we dont get something with some height.
It's silly this clown show is still even on the property doing anything - they should put in a stop order of some sort to prevent any additional development. I would believe this is a viable option if the city is correct in stating the developer has not met their deadline obligations.
How are these guys still allowed to touch this property? Hand pouring concrete - my daughter even knows you need forms. And they're now saying they have retail and/or office space available to move into 6 months from now?
Someone must be scripting them for legal reasons. Unless they drop in pre-made structures, there's no possible way they will have a building (besides a construction trailer) before EOY. Maybe they signed on a Hot N Now restaurant and they'll deliver it in two halves.

Stothert helped to push along a lot of good things. This was not one of them.
