Fake rumors will now start being moved into this topic. I'm going to keep the original post titles so it is clear where it came from and give more clarity on the context.

I changed the date of this post to be first, so it doesn't actually reflect when the topic was created.

If this is a legit preview of the civic site plans, that is some prodigious usage of rooftop facilities. Basketball court, swimming pool, putting green, greenhouse?....running track?

Though, based on the photos of the street grid pour happening right now, that doesn't line up with this rendering in the least so I'm a wee skeptical.

From my source, here are three options that were presented to either the current owner or potentially the new owner:

Great info, thanks for posting!

None of those are terrible. Whoever is designing these must really like the Mutual of Omaha dome thing around 35th & Dodge, lol

Wow, that third one has so much parking! That's obviously the winning design.

Really though, what are you using to generate these? Genuinely interested.

All I've ever seen from you is posting false rumors - many times as anonymous posters in the rumors section. It doesn't matter if you post as Npdodger12, Upintheair, Gromaha24, or Blablabla, I know more than you realize Scotty. You may work in real estate, but every rumor you've posted has clearly been trolling.

I actually work in real estate development, and for years, I have known that nothing is anonymous on this site. There are many of us who know a lot about current developments and ones in the pipeline, but will not give out any information because we all know that any info given here doesn’t stay safe and private. So many of us sit back and wonder how long it will take on here for you all to learn about development projects that we’ve known about for weeks or even months. Right now, I currently know about two pretty big developments, and I’m wondering how long it will take for these projects to get mentioned. Sometimes this site gets pretty boring with its endless posting about Mutual of Omaha building and the constant fawning over pictures of the pedestrian bridge, fireworks, and sunsets. The development forums get pretty stale sometimes, so sometimes many of us in the know try to liven it up.

Grow up.

Your attempt to "liven it up" is actually what kills sites like this. Have a hard time believing you work in real estate when you are acting like someone in middle school

A lot of us work in spaces where we can’t talk about our projects. But you carry yourself like someone who is a receptionist at the development firm you work for and overhears things from behind the closed conference room door. Your rumors are easy to snuff out because they’re just ridiculous, like you don’t know what a an actually viable development would be.

If you need something to do, why don’t you post about the next new subdivision in development in Huntsville. We’re always on the edge of our seats for whats going on in Huntsville.

Yeah, I know, that's what I said...I've looked it up before. You honestly made it pretty easy to track down.

And of course there's a lot of things going on behind the scenes that aren't being discussed here. That's because they cannot be shared publicly so even those on here who do know (and there are more beyond you) don't talk about it until it can be. There's one thing I can think of off the top of my head that I'm aware about but can't post about.

FWIW, the ideas in these renderings are pretty solid. I don't think any office space is needed, but overall something along these lines would really reshape the area.

But it’s fake.

And it’s presented as real.

So it’s |expletive|. He can go post in a pretend thread about ideas instead of passing off made up things as real and blurring the lines to be a pathetic little troll.

Right, that's why I said "FWIW". I think the post should be removed.

But I also think the city should be working to make something like that a reality, perhaps alongside a BRT line to Oak View.

Honestly that’s spectacularly pathetic. If this website doesn’t excite you, you’re more than welcome to not come around anymore. If you have some need to feel better than others because you know about |expletive| real estate projects, doubly so!

For every bullshit rumor and AI slop you submit, I’ll just know that a sad little man is behind it.

Could this be the person posting "Gabrielle Union is the greatest actress from Omaha ever... and should win 10 Oscars"???

It's not age. There have been a number of posters who appear or acknowledge themselves to be under 21 who are good contributors. Those that many agree are a concern seem to be over that by all indications
