Tulip Festival
16 acres of tulips.

The Tulip Festival is a bloom-based event and is expected to take place in late April through early May. Exact dates will be released 2–3 weeks before the festival, once bloom timing is clearer.

Glad to see they are still having it this year. My Tulips are kind of blooming now, but look like heck because of the rollercoaster temperatures.

Mine havent bloomed but the green leaves are definitely burned from the freezes.

$25/person to look at tulips seems kind of crazy.

They state that they have 800,000 tulips across 14 acres

That works out to $0.0000312 per tulip, so it is really not that bad.
For the record  NEBUGEATER does not equal BUGEATER    !!!!!!!

Or you could drive to Orange City or Pella in Iowa and look at them for free.

I’ve been to the tulip festival in Orange City a few times. It’s a pretty cool little town with lots of Dutch architecture and windmills. There’s lots of tulips too. I’ve heard good things about the tulip festival in Pella.

I visited Lauritzen Gardens on Arbor Day (April 24 this year) and I would estimate that 95% of the tulips had already finished blooming. Surprisingly they still had thousands of daffodils in bloom near the entrance to the Japanese Garden.
