The recommended square footage size for locations is typically 28k-38k sqft. In terms of Crossroads being a potential destination that's obviously well short of 92k sqft. If not Crossroads directly, I wonder if the NE corner of 72nd & Dodge could be a potential destination as part of the rumored mixed use development.

That would be a good location, because we desperately need something to help fill the void left by Family Fun Center's closing.

Looking at other locations this concept looks like it usually lands is a former big box type space in suburban areas. Doesn't seem like something that makes a lot of sense in a new build. Feels very L Street Marketplace or Shadow Lake type place to me.

I can see this. I was thinking it would be a great anchor to Oak View Mall. Or any larger retail space sitting empty like Office Depot or Best Buy. Regardless of location, it's a big gain for Omaha!

That wouldn't surprise me. I do like the idea of it as homage to what was once the Family Fun Center. Gawd, if it's L Street Market, does anyone need another reason to avoid that fluster cuck nightmare.

Where would it go in either of these places? the only thing that I could find close is the old buybuy baby at 25k SF.

Idk what the specific vacancies are I meant it more as a general statement that those types of areas are where they have tended to landed in STL, Denver, Chicago Dallas etc seems like they usually end up in or near retail centers backfilling space. Who knows maybe the group doing Omaha's has different ideas though.

We can move this thread since it's official now.

Will it be right next to Smash Park?

No, this over on that back lot on the west end of the property.
