Love the idea a very difficult confusing intersection.S.O.Boy wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2026 3:18 pm A new Roundabout at 33rd & Hamilton started today.

Does that intersection get backed up? It seems like a very odd selection for a roundabout spot.

Re: Roundabout (33rd & Hamilton)
I thought that same thing too at first. But the main problem there is people turning left with no way to go around them. Hamilton is a pretty heavily traveled east-west street, and one person turning left in front of 10 others going straight can get annoying.Louie wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2026 8:00 am Does that intersection get backed up? This right here is the problem, it’s not a perfect square of an intersection so I can understand the confusion it can cause with people not familiar with it.Busguy2010 wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2026 10:27 amI thought that same thing too at first. Did they need to bulldoze any buildings for this project?

I was gonna say they probably just plop a raised disc in the middle like at 63rd & Shirley.
