Calls this week to the posted phone number were unanswered. Employment ads suggested the restaurant will serve Asian and American food.

There still open but moving to a new location by westroads in September. Would imagine with all the new apartments opening up next door that they raised rent on them.

I like that location better. For those who didnt know, Crystal Jade opened as a sister location of Jade Palace in Bellevue, which is the spot for your "American Chinese". Crystal Jade does things slightly different from Jade Palace, but it is our #2 when going all the way to Bellevue is out of the question.

Yep, 843 N 98th St (in Clocktower Village area east of Westroads Mall) was JC Mandarin then Sebastian's Southern Crab then Karnali Indian Cuisine and now, soon to be, Crystal Jade.

I wonder if they're still related in anyway. IIRC, Jade Palace in Bellevue changed ownership several years ago. It's certainly not the same people that were running it when I first ate there in 2001.

That is correct. We've been loyal to Jade palace through both owners and we know Crystal Jade was opened by the same owner. We dont know if Crystal Jade came with the new ownership of Jade Palace, but have kept it in the rotation. Though things were different before the new ownership of Jade Palace, we still love how he does it, and the owner is a real swell guy!
