Looks like the Council Bluffs 7 Brew is going in at 2901 W Broadway (which used to be a US Bank branch).

Someone should tell 7 Brew. Their website lists it as "Coming Soon" with a June 1, 2026, date and Google Maps has it listed as "Temporarily Closed."

Sorry I may have been mistaken. I have seen people working there and my wife teaches in CB and they delivered free coffee last week, so I assumed they were already open, but I agree, it appears June 1st is the official opening date.

When the one in Fremont opened, they were delivering a lot around town for two or more weeks before opening.

With everything going on along 370 and right N of Gretna on 6, I am surprised there has not been an announced 7 Brew location with a Gretna address. I am sure the area could use another coffee option......

Not really. I drink coffee. Nothing they have that I have seen resembles real coffee

Right. As an actual coffee drinker- black 99% of the time and only occasionally adding in a “sweetener”, these drinks are sugared up diabetic bombs with coffee added into them as an occasional ingredient..

That’s why folks are losing their minds (and health) over it.. I see the same crapola at Starbucks too…

All of these can be true at once:
1. I never really got into drinking coffee on a daily basis before I reached my late 50s. (Always loved the aroma, but disliked the taste.)
2. While I am by no means a connoisseur, I enjoy premium coffees. I’m always searching out new premium brands and blends, to brew at home in my kitchen, to start my day. About half the time I drink my coffee black. Otherwise I use a small amount of milk. Never sugar or any other additions besides milk.
3. I’m frugal (friends call me “cheap”). Whatever. A cup of coffee at home almost always costs me less than one dollar. I allot myself 2 cups per day.
4. I cannot for the life of me understand why people living on any sort of a fixed budget spend more than $2 or $3 a day on coffee, unless they are relaxing in some attractive coffee house or cafe, taking in the ambiance all while enjoying a pastry or bagel or whatnot. Spending anything more than that and being handed your coffee in a takeout cup through a drive-thru window baffles me beyond words. What’s the fun in that?
5. I haven’t ordered coffee (and only coffee) from a drive up lane in, well, ever. I recall getting a few McDonald’s breakfasts where coffee was part of the breakfast I selected, but that’s it.
6. Over the years I have won three or four $5 or $10 Starbucks gift cards as door prizes at conferences. They are all still sitting unused in a bedroom dresser drawer.
7. I’m probably not all that much fun to hang around with….

I disagree…. We need to have a beer again soon.

That said, my barista also sells gas, cigarettes, and lottery tickets… lol.

I took a quick look at 7brew.com to see their "Featured Drinks". None of these looks like the coffee I make at home.

All I can say again is that when the one opens on 168th and Harrison, it’s going to suck bad for traffic. Even if the hype wears off after a bit, it will be the only one in that SW area and Harrison is already terrible in that area.

At least the one out NW off Maple is set back a bit off the major roadways plus Maple is already 4 lanes.
