I haven't heard anything about the old eat the worm building but I know that all the Tenants that were living there had to move out so I would imagine that process isn't a quick one. I did see construction has started on the old Stadium club on 10th street and overheard it was going to become an Irish Pub? anybody know anything about that?

Great Plains VTG a vintage clothing store that is currently located above Berry & Rye is expanding and moving into the open store front at 507 s 11th st. Planning on a January 4th opening.

Sounds like Chef David Utterback is going to be opening a new Japanese steakhouse and a separate Asian hand rolled place in the old Mouth of the South location. Great get for the old market!

I saw that the Urban Abbey Cafe is moving into the old Joy Nightclub that has been vacant for quite some time at 1516 Jones St.

Noa Brides that was located in little Bohemia has closed there shop (Warehouse Comedy will be taking the space) and has reopened/rebranded as Rosette Bridal in the Old Market Passageway.

It’s becoming a bar. I think it’s owned by the same group that owns Wine, Beer, and Spirits.

Not the most exciting news in the world but the Cubby's fuel canopy was looking about ready to topple over maybe a week ago and that has since been removed.

I haven't seen them yet, but I would assume they would look good. They should be nice contrast with all the dark brick and other dark building materials down there. Should look really nice in the fall too. Funny they are calling them "Native Aspen", while there are native aspen out in the sandhills, there are none native to this part of the state.

Popcorn only works at dive bars that have a popping machine in the corner.

The concept was good. We went with 6 people, who got 6 different drinks, and got 6 different matched flavors of popcorn. The popcorn was really good.

What wasn't good was the waitress who told us she would be in when she was done smoking. The 8 people who left because there was no server in the bar.
