I find myself on YouTube more than every other medium combined. I generally watch music (all types), Ted Talks, Travel Vloggers, History Channels, cooking channels, science stuff——I’m always on the lookout for new content. Who/what do you watch/follow (people/channels, etc.)?

During the pandemic, I definitely discovered more content on Youtube. I like the following: Renaissance Periodization, Jeff Nippard, Corridor Crew, MotoIQ, Shredded Sports Science (for sarcastic reviews of fitness influencer culture and sports nutrition), House of Highlights for NBA highlights. I also consult the Tube for car repair videos, usually home mechanics, but 1A Auto has pretty good content.

Two cooking channels I like are Not Another Cooking Show and Sip and Feast. I like that they tend to stay away from the food science or like pop culture angle and stick to some pretty accessible dishes.

Foresty Forrest is the van life/outdoors one I usually watch. He usually goes out on remote Canadian logging roads and then climbs a summit and gets some incredible drone shots.

Honestly, like a lot of kids her age. YouTube is her TV. She watches so many different YouTubers and Channels it's hard to keep track of.

Not a bad video but I find it annoying when videos like this have outdated videos and pictures. Clearly, it was made recently since it was mentioning the Mutual tower but then showed aerials before the Capitol District was completed, which was years ago. Also it showed a quick picture of the new mall part of the riverfront but then showed video of the old lake at heartland of America park. Just wish they would use all new photos and videos. With all the media these days, not too hard to obtain.

This is a great channel thanks for the suggestion. Just watched the Devil’s Nest video which is such an underrated area in Eastern Nebraska.

For those unaware this was a former ski resort/yacht club on the Nebraska side of Lewis and Clark Lake that had aspirations of having a hotel tower of around 25 stories and other attractions. Ultimately it closed due to lack of visitors (was quite far from population centers other than Sioux City) and investment issues. There are traces of the resort today with the dilapidated yacht club and ski chair lift still standing.

Talk bout a blast from the past. I don’t think I have read or heard or thought about this proposed project in 50 years. It generated a lot of headlines and news stories in the early 1970s, then just faded from the public consciousness. Somebody got caught holding the bag. Probably all the people who bought lots.
Nebraska’s ski season is fairly short even in a snowy winter, and people who are serious about snow skiing go to Colorado or Utah, where they actually have mountains and the ski season stretches into April.

I know some of you follow Storm Chaser Reed Timmer and others of you follow Cletus McFarland. Tomorrow night Reed is racing a Crown Vic in Cletus's "Michigan 100" Crown Vic Race. Race is on Flo, but I'm sure the will both have stuff on their socials. Reed's Dominator will be the pace car.

For those if you unfamiliar, Cletus McFarland (Garrett Mitchel) is originally from Omaha. He buys old Crown Vic's at auction and invites fellow YouTubers, Racers, and Celebrities to race them at a handful of tracks each year.
