I spoke to my Mutual contact this weekend, and he’s indicating by January, the various different departments will begin working their hybrid schedules at the new office tower…

i'm not sure how to do it, but your photo from this angle should be the main image on wikipedia rather than this one (below). Not only is your picture the best shot of mutual, but my favorite picture of downtown I've ever seen. It's got a lot of story to tell, you could look it it forever.
These are great pictures Brad! It's always nice to see the FNBO tower, because the Lauritzens started the confidence in starting the reconstruction of downtown. They could have easily went to a cheap place in West Omaha and avoid the decaying downtown.
Since then we have hit home runs with the Convention center, CHI health center, venues and the Riverfront.
The Mutual of Omaha is our next symbol and anchor, that we can think bigger and we can only think of making our downtown better!

Very well put, when FNBO was built, downtown wasn’t that great. But they went ahead and built it anyway. They could have easily built a campus on west Dodge, very brave of FNBO on taking a risk with downtown Omaha back then, which was probably around 1998 or 97. Actually before FNBO and Mutual were built I always thought Omaha’s skyline was kinda weak for its size. Toledo and Little Rock looked better, but not anymore.

I like how Toledo's new tallest building is, of all things, a furnace tower a mile from downtown.
