I found some recently created videos that were created on Omaha, which show Omaha's history and shows how unique Omaha is.
Though it does show some dark times that happened in Omaha
This video shows how the wealthy families in Omaha, shaped Omaha. It also shows how several of them worked hard from nothing to create great companies in Omaha.
Seems like Omaha is showing up more and more on YouTube, since before Omaha was absent.

These are AI generated videos, my guess is there's the exact same videos for most cities.

I didn't watch these, but there seems to be a crapload of AI generated city content on Facebook. Just complete garbage.

Omaha Skyline Photos, Omaha Aerial Photos, and More.

Is there any way to know if such videos are AI generated? At least I don't hear an AI type voice. Or is the only way to know for sure, that it comes from a popular creator? What makes us think they won't use AI either?

The voice could not sound any more AI on both videos. The cadence and verbiage is a dead giveaway.Renovator2559 wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2026 10:57 pm Is there any way to know if such videos are AI generated? At least I don't hear an AI type voice. Re: Omaha on the Internet
I appreciate the discussion around AI generated content. Given how convincing this technology has become, it's getting nearly impossible to verify the authenticity of outside sources. To avoid any further misunderstandings, I've decided to stop sharing external links and videos here.

Re: Omaha on the Internet
I was having a conversation with a friend about this earlier this year. AI has been used to mimic well known on-line news vloggers, even using their likenesses. I guess there are several lawsuits being prepared, or so I was told. At the very least, they should be forced by law to label AI content as such. It’s getting out of control.Renovator2559 wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2026 10:57 pm Is there any way to know if such videos are AI generated? At least I don't hear an AI type voice. Re: Omaha on the Internet
I've posted some photos on Facebook trying to sell something, to see my photo show up in my feed from some "person" with a weird name. They steal content and post it to different pages that have much more of a following than your average person. They then make money off of clicks and ad revenue. I've even had "interest" in something I was selling, and half of the ad generated replies and likes are at least fraudulent, but possibly run by AI. Its very hard to reach real peaple. They very well could post a fraudulent listing, collect the money, and not have the product, leaving you, the real seller looking like dirt, and they have your and the seller/buyer's money. I noticed because I was conducting business as usual, while they start a loop of dumb and repeated questions to answers that are clearly listed in the post. Listen to your gut. If it don't feel right, it aint. Its a bit hard to explain how you know, but when you know, you know.

I like to describe the internet now as a sketchy gas station. Facebook itself is a cesspool of bots, scammers, and AI content. You hardly ever see the genuine video from the person that posted it. Always a repost. Its just scammers that know something in the algorithm to make it get way more views than it would have normally.

What's bad is when the AI pronounces a word differently in the same video. While I have not watched these, I have seen it on several throwbak type channels. Even use the same AI voice.Linkin5 wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2026 11:01 pmThe voice could not sound any more AI on both videos.
