John Day Co

Post by OverlookedFarm »

Old time ag-industrial jobber family business in Omaha.

I think they closed. Were downtown, moved to Abbott drive in the late 80s.

Can anyone confirm? Web is up, my guys are saying closed, closed on google.

I think there are only a few of these types of businesses left from the olsky-olsky. Central Rubber, Baum Hydraulics, JP Cooke, etc.

Where I used to work, we did a fair amount of business with them, but I haven't done any recently. I believe they closed sometime last year.
For the record  NEBUGEATER does not equal BUGEATER    !!!!!!!

Yes, John Day did close. They were one of my customers and had stopped paying their invoices about 6 months prior. We stopped accepting orders.
