There is no way ESPN can orchestrate a conspiracy involving all the voters when only a small portion of them are tied to ESPN

Im gonna go with Skers 21 - 20. Dylan Raiola isnt starting, for everybody who wanted to see that. I bet he will see the field at some point. If he does, coaches should know his tendencies.

Im going to put this win in the category of the ONE time we beat Ohio State. The star quarterback got injured and the sky fell. This happened to Oregon this year. I dont think going to Oregon is quite as intimidating as it would have been. And I like how the Skers look like they can keep a game tight. Lots of close games in the Big Ten this year, and I dont think theres a clear runaway winner.

Im not surprised they left the other backup QB in. They want to win without a QB. I can see the faces Raiola makes after possession after possession ticks off and still on the bench.

I won't be surprised if they put him in and the second half will be a different ball game, or the Huskers have a feeding frenzy.

"Look at that poor little Husker fan... Oh, ho, ho"

I think everyone who watched felt that, and felt it hard.

He was talking about a kid, but at this point we are all that kid.

Well, unfortunately, Nebraska just lost 17-14 at the last second.

I think Rhule might get one more year but the consistent terrible time management gets really old. Burns 1-2 timeouts every half that he shouldn’t and with this team you know the game is going to be close. Gotta keep those till the end. 2nd straight week they have dominated the first 3 quarters to have the other team come back and pull it away.

I dont like how Colandrea is running for his life the past two games. That O-line really needs to straighten up.

Raiola looked better than the QB he replaced. If the Oregon coach would have put him in earlier the game might not of even been as close as it was. Nebraska needs to regroup and try and salvage its season. The offense has sputtered the last two games in the 4th quarter against quality opponents.

I'm pleased to see that Nebraska didn't miss a field goal. So, we can't blame the loss on the kicking!

Not that it changes anything, but the replay of the game was on, and I watched the play where riola had the touchdown and the offensive lineman definitely was holding #5 for Nebraska. That would have been a big call because it would’ve pushed him back 10 yards granted they still had two downs to get a touchdown, but it’s crazy that that doesn’t get called.

Well, we should remember, at the beginning of the year this was one of the toughest games on the list. So we have two of the three big games behind us. They're taking care of the teams they should. I think theyre gonna go on a 3 game win streak after this bye. If they win those 3, and beat Iowa, I will be very pleased with 9-3. Especially how close they played their tough games.

Can't believe were already over halfway done.

Well, that was really hard to watch, especially after their much better than expected performance last week against Indiana, only to come up short.

The late night time slot, with all of the commercial interruptions, was brutal to watch them never really come close to the dominance they showed last week and let it slip away again.

Im willing to bet they purposely sat Raiola for 3 quarters TO make him look like the hero. He has to be thinking of positive press getting back to the NFL. It's his third year so he could declare for the NFL from the backup position if he's lights out the rest of the season.

I actually was happy to get through so much of the game without them scoring. They wanted to do it without Raiola, but had to slap him in for a couple drives to get serious... And it was just that easy.

And let's be honest, the Huskers got two calls to go their way, when after the fact, it was pretty obvious the Huskers benefitted from the refs calling them incorrectly on the field.

Going back to my preseason prediction, we achieved our upside of beating Maryland (who turns out to be really, really bad). So I will stick to my upside record of 6–6. Future losses are Washington, @ Illinois, Ohio St., @ Iowa.

I think it is worth remembering that the two Big Ten teams we defeated are a combined 0–8 in conference. I have yet to see any evidence that Nebraska can defeat an even slightly competent B1G opponent.

Washington and Illinois aren’t that good, you should be able to beat them. If you don’t you have problems.

I think they did. If they weren't worth any shite, they would have lost by a combined 110 points to Indiana and Oregon. Im sure we'll lose to Ohio State, but I think all the others are well within obtainable.

I think this will become the new tradition. Those black jerseys last year finally hit. And its just good theming for Nebraska to have a "come at your own risk" game every season. Now if only the team could be scary...

The Washington game at home is now basically a must win game in my opinion. Need to avoid a 3 game losing streak at all cost.

I'm still not sold on Holgorsen. Oregon has a good front four and I can understand(to a point) the strategy to play it away from them. However, 78 net rushing yards is not going to cut it in The Big 10.

It is. Theyre 4-3 and their 3 losses are not bad, except, who let's iowa score 40+... Oh wait.

I think itll be a very close matchup that the Huskers must win. I think every game left is must win, except Ohio State. 9-3 is a positive season, given most of us did have em at 6-6 or 7-5.

I bet when the line is out next week for the Nebraska / Wash game, the Huskers will be about a 12-point fav. Of course, that doesn't guarantee a win, but the people that set these know a little bit
