Great photos. I usually dont' like night views of Omaha because only 3 buildings stick out in the dark. But the way the fog trapped the light in it turned out to be a really well lit shoot.

I still think the best shots of dowtown are at night driving back from the airport along Abbot Drive.. for a moment you get the feeling you're in a big city. I also like the mid-rises that parallel I-480 all the way up.. if you haven't seen it from that angle in person it's a pretty good shot.

Streets, Bring it! No, I probably could've phrased it a little differently. Of course we know Omaha's a big city.. I just meant in terms of the skyline.

Well skyline wise, we're not doing that bad of a job either. The only problem is, we have to compete with cities like Des Moines and KC for skyline respect.

I tink if we get one more building the size of the Woodmen or First National we will have the undisputed best skyline around. I think we can beat DM ( no offense Ryan) KC. STL. Denver's skyline seems a little plain to me. Mpls is what we should shoot for.

Well, I absolutely agree that Omaha needs to aim high.

I agree that Omaha could beat KC, and maybe even STL purely based on AESTHETICS. But until Omaha gets like 10 more 300+ ft. buildings, including a new tallest, we can't beat them on skyline size.

I think Minneapolis is an EXCELLENT example of how a skyline can grow and change in a relatively short period of time.

DTO Luv-You still need to get 6 more buildings over 300 ft downtown to beat Des Moines--- ;) Omaha beats Des Moines in the suburban market for sure.
