180th and Dodge

Post by OmahaJaysCU »

Just thought I'd throw in here that they are finally beginning to pour the final northbound bridge approach which has been sitting unpaved forever. They finished the actual bridge what seems like ages ago, and over the last week have started to finish up. Hopefully, it will be opened soon, it will make my life so much easier.

Yes, and that piece is almost done. They did about 1/3 of it today, hopefully it will be connected by tomarrow and we will be driving on it by next week.

Resignation is settling like dust on the 45-plus-year-old Regency Mobile Home Park northeast of 180th Street and West Dodge Road.

"What's gonna happen is we're definitely going to get pushed out of here," resident Bob Lancaster said. "That's inevitable."
I shall reserve comment.

It looks ready to open, most of the construction material has been moved, the lines are painted, and the streetlights are up. Its only a matter of days...

The interchange is now open after three years of construction! It opened on July 19th.

Very true. I do like the fact that planned ahead and made that a big one for in the future. Lights need to be better now though.

I agree, that's what I'm excited about, for once a major road has planned for growth far into the future. Heck, this was one of the last intersections under construction all the way to fremont. Really impressive if you ask me.
