Found this on the web... taken from St Joseph tower... an assisted care facility (these elderly folks have quite a view!)... overlooking the Dalhman neighborhood.

Cool shot.

So St. Joseph's tower is a 13 story building atop a hill south of downtown. For the life of me, I can't remember this building. Granted, it's been 5 years since my last visit to Omaha, but something like that should stick out in my head. What does the building look like? What era was it built? Do you have any pictures of the exterior?

Its a fair distance up 10th Street... hidden among some denser vegetation.

I'll bet it's got some great views of the river, too. What era is the building? 60s? 70s?

You mentioned on SSP that you might try to finagle your way past the front desk to get some of your own shots. Likely prospect?

It's a nice shot, but I wish it showed more of the skyline to the east. Any shot from the south or north makes the skyline look nice and long if you catch the right angle and show it all, which this shot doesn't do.
