They were testing the color changing LED's tonight. This park is going to look amazing at night with the projectors on the Burlington building and the video wall under the bridge. Can't wait for this to open.

Wow. Thanks for posting this. Never imagined these kind of capabilities in this new park and I'm guessing what we are seeing here is probably just scratching the surface. Should take things like the holiday lights festival to a whole new level,

One of the few projects where the final result appears to be better than any of the initial renderings. This is awesome.

Looks like they are tied down tight. Wonder if they are Geofoam Blocks?

Wow that is really amazing how many huge trees they have planted. When people ask why this is costing so much, I am sure that is part of it. A big tree like those may cost thousands each easily.

Looks like they're some sort of underlayment for the sod/turf going down near the Burlington building.

You can see them live here: https://burlingtoncapital.com/live/

Yes, I saw the underlayment going in for the turf, however, that came in different containers.

Interesting, my only other thought was the video boards for under the bridge? That's a lot of containers.

That was installed, tested, and covered up for safe keeping a couple months ago.

Those large white blocks are geofoam that will create a new embankment for the Farnam Pier.

Thanks for the info, I knew it had to be something substantial as the semi loads of these foam blocks continue to arrive everyday.

Does anyone know what is going on with the vertical slab of concrete just to the north of the swings? My only guess it that it could be an information board or perhaps a smaller video wall.

It's a foam underlayment for the artificial turf they are currently installing.

Looks like there is something for everybody. What’s not to like? It will be interesting to see how they handle snow removal with all of those surfaces to clear. Maybe they have a snow melt system installed. I can’t wait to see it in person in a few weeks!

One thought I had looking at this picture: the lawn east of the PAC is currently used for outdoor concerts and the like. Will it continue being used that way, or will those events move over to the mall? And if they do move, will that lawn be redeveloped?

My understanding was that OPA was going to build some classrooms on that lawn?

It looks promising, but too bad it couldn’t have been unwrapped in time for the CWS, with all the national publicity that goes with it. A significant PR opportunity lost.

Since Frankie Payne's isn't ever coming back, I'll take the much needed green space and point to many other lots that ideally would be developed first. All that green looks great from the air(thanks Brad).

You know what could be cool? Some sort of colorful, artistic installation on the north side of the data center(?), east of the Landmark. I'll admit, I wasn't the biggest fan of the colorful leaves installed onto the HDR garage at first. But they really do a lot to enhance the feel of the courtyard area. Something like that might be neat.

As someone else, there will be classroom/community space built on the PAC lawn. You can see it on this website regarding the Steelhouse project. Scroll down a bit and you will see the plan about midway through:

The delayed opening was a big bummer, but there's always next year! And HOA and Lewis and Clark may all to open by CWS. The website says L&C will be completed in the spring, but HOA just says 2023. It would be neat to have all three next year for the big events like Berkshire and CWS. Plus, the Luminarium might be open by then as well.

Oh yeah, it will be the highest music classroom in the world. Honestly though, I would like to see OPA sell off of that land to a developer, get some skinny residential towers there.
