omaja, I'm sorry if I mislead you or anyone, but I read every post in threads that I'm interested in, not just posts directed at me.
It's not a cop-out at all. I really think the forum is terribly flawed as a means of communication. It's great for posting project update photos and all the "that looks great!" comments that follow, but when we wade into serious waters and start discussing urban policies and theories, the forum really fails us; we end up taking things personally and saying mean-spirited things based on very scarce information that we would almost certainly never say in person. What I'm saying is that there would be a lot more compassion and understanding if we were having face-to-face discussions - and most of these dialogues that take place over months could unfold in a matter of an hour or two.
