Great win by the Jays over #12 Texas Tech 83-76. The Jays were up by 19 and should have put it away, but they hung on and won in OT.

It was great to see the team come back after the demoralizing loss the night before. (it was their biggest loss since 2002)

Mintz should be coming back in the next week or two and Mahoney is available for the Nebraska game.

Zegarowski is just something else. Glad he came alive even more in OT and grabbed the reigns.

Creighton's two losses come to undefeated teams who are 15-0. Really need to finish the NonCon strong with wins over Zona State and Chokelahoma though.

95 to 76 Creighton Wins, although Nebraska ended game on a 10-0 run.

Z goes for another 30 points, and Tyshon had a monster game as well.

I will be excited to get Mahoney for Oklahoma and getting Mintz back...

No surprise to me regarding the ease at which the Jays handled NU.. Hoiberg just needs more time to build his kind of team and culture...

Actually Hoiberg has gone out of his way not to bring up the "culture" propaganda we have heard out of Frost so much. Check it out and watch for it and you will see. Hoiberg does not want any part of going down the same paths as Scott Frost. I like that! Thats a good thing.

It's easy to let your foot off the gas when you get up to a 30 point lead and then later bring in the backups though. Can't blame em for losing intensity there.

Overall outside of the debacle against SDSU, so far so good. I'm glad they're going to get some rest before Oklahoma and Arizona State coming up...if they can beat both, I'll feel much better about the Big East slate.

Big win by the Jays...reminded me a lot of the 2013 game when Creighton was up 38-8. I am excited that Creighton won, but it was actually a pretty boring game to attend b/c Nebraska was so bad, especially in the first half.

Still no MIntz last night, but the Jays won easily by 31. Next up is Oklahoma on Tuesday. Both Mintz and Mahoney are expected to make their season debuts and Jones is also supposed to be back from his ankle injury.

Creighton was favored by 18 1/2 points last night. Much like the Nebraska game this never was a game it was a beat down from the get go. These past 2 games mean nothing but you get the feeling that this Creighton team is going to be pretty good.

Creighton is favored by 3 1/2 points over Oklahoma tonight. I think they will cover but it might be close. I bet 20 bucks on Creighton just to win it straight up. Hope I didn't jinx the BlueJays.

It can't be said often enough about Creighton that they are just one well coached team. Creighton's glaring weakness is that they are height challenged. Oklahoma had a couple of tall guys that caused major problems but Creighton was able to overcome it with intense team effort and consistently nailing shots cold. Oklahoma fought to get in the game but they never really could get any control of it.

Great game. Hopefully in the future they will schedule more of these type of home games early in the season. The crowd was great for a 7:45 start on a Tuesday night.

Mahoney played really well for his first game in almost 2 years.

Once again....I can't stand the World Herald's stories. Creighton has a big win against a power school like Oklahoma with Mahoney playing his first game as a Jay, and the Huskers have just as big of a story written about Hoiberg bringing in Teddy Allen. The former boystown player that is going to be on his 4th team in 3 years.....we will see how that works out

Great win for the Jays. I agree with MadMartin...a year ago, this would have been a loss, especially with the poor shooting and the big 3 for Creighton not doing much, but the Jays out rebounded and outplayed ASU.

10-2 start to the season and should finish the non-conference schedule 11-2 with the only losses coming to a 12-0 San Diego St team at a neutral site and a very good Michigan team on the road that Creighton was beating by 10 at halftime.

Creighton should definitely garner greater coverage from OWH. I am an online only subscriber and Creighton's win against Arizona wasn't anywhere to be found on the main page, while other less exciting Husker news was.

Once again, huge story in the paper about Nebraska's loss to N Dakota, but Creighton has a great, quality road win @ ASU and they only got a little story and the online headline was horrible. "With low 3-point numbers and 11 turnovers, Creighton men's basketball defeats Arizona St"
