Courtyard Cafe in the Quality Inn & Suites in Bellevue in the Early 1990s?

I was just throwing this out there to see if anyone remembers Courtyard Cafe in Bellevue. It was inside the Quality Inn & Suites (1811 Hillcrest Dr - bulldozed years ago). We ate there pretty regularly in the early 1990s.

I just looked at street view, there was a Days Inn there up until about 2009. Is it that same location?

Yep. It was a Quality Inn and then a Days Inn and then bulldozed for some failed waterpark venture and now that lot is Freedom Village retirement community. The original hotel had a fairly spacious indoor courtyard with a pool and large patio (plus space for a decent-sized restaurant and bar too). I'm guessing that courtyard space is where Courtyard Café got its name. Before Courtyard Café was in there I think this was Garden Cafe's Bellevue location and after Courtyard Café it was the original location of That's Amore (before That's Amore moved to Olde Towne Bellevue - where Luigi's is now). There was even in bar inside the hotel named Tooters. Courtyard Café was always busy, so when they closed I believe the rumor was something about financial misdeeds by one of the partners and not a lack of revenue. Courtyard Cafe was run by Clark Pflanz who I think makes a living as an artist now.

Yes that was THE premier hotel/motel in all of Sarpy County back in the 1980s-1990s. Not that there was much competition for that label.
