Went down to the Chiefs home opener. The Chiefs just spent $9 million to completely redo their Hall of Honor on the first level of the stadium. You can see a bunch of their owners and awards, and of course their 2 Lombardi trophies. They also have a good collection and history of the AFL. It's definitely worth going to if you are at a game (they also do tours of the stadium on non game days like Kauffman). It's a huge upgrade over their previous version.
They also did a major redo of their primary team store.

Would a possible move of Kauffman downtown mean anything for Arrowhead's future?Greg S wrote: Thu Sep 16, 2021 1:54 pm Went down to the Chiefs home opener. Yeah there's already a bunch of talk and speculation on that. Some of speculated if the Chiefs decide to ever replace Arrowhead they could build the new one on the land where Kauffman sits while still using Arrowhead. If they don't build anew, I could see them building a new practice facility and offices there (they current have one at the Truman Sports complex already).Louie wrote: Thu Sep 16, 2021 2:03 pmWould a possible move of Kauffman downtown mean anything for Arrowhead's future?Greg S wrote: Thu Sep 16, 2021 1:54 pm Went down to the Chiefs home opener. Lot of possiblities, I definitely think the Chiefs will do something. The owner of the Royals did say that they included the Chiefs in their discussions about a new downtown baseball stadium. One thing that's been good since Clark Hunt took over the Chiefs and David Glass now John Sherman took over the Royals is that the 2 teams really seem to communicate, support each other and work well together. That didn't seem to be as apparent in the early times of each team.

It makes sense to work together, especially with their location as is. Would the Chiefs ever consider going downtown?Greg S wrote: Thu Sep 16, 2021 2:08 pmYeah there's already a bunch of talk and speculation on that. I don't know. For them their is so much identity in the tailgating. No way they could replicate that downtown.Louie wrote: Thu Sep 16, 2021 2:13 pmIt makes sense to work together, especially with their location as is.
