Where do folks get their status updates on these types of projects? For instance, I can't find any recent info on the Highway 275 and 30 widening projects
Here are some photos I took last month (November 2022). Working on the last 2 bridges and the tie in to the existing highway. The large bridges are so big because of the flood plain.

Thanks for the update. How many miles of roadway do they still have left? Google earth is showing ~10 miles x 2 sides from about 17 months ago.
I can ask. I was thinking maybe 5 or 6 miles left on just the eastbound lanes.
Looks like the last section of highway 30 has moved to the new alignment. Still not fully open yet though. Still have another year on that.

The remaining work on this project is, at present, expected to be complete late Summer 2024.
It will be nice to have this open. I have been to Columbus twice in the past month and a third trip took me west of North Bend last week. Its a busy section of Highway.
This stretch in now partially open. From Fremont to north of North Bend it is one lane in each direction with a 55mph speed limit with radar being ran both times I took it. The future east bound lanes are not built yet. The west part finished with two lanes in each direction.
It currently is the same time but should cut 4 to 5 minutes off when finally finished. I'm going to miss the Casey's in North Bend and driving by the Ice Cream store that closed 15 years ago.
