I had no idea that Eppley is about 15% busier than OKC's airport.

Yep, and 2M more passengers than Tulsa which is nearly identical to Omaha population wise. So, between OKC and Tulsa combined, little ole Omaha only trails them both by 2.5 million passengers. I’m astonished whenever I think about it.

OKC suffers for the same reasons that the Lincoln airport struggles. OKC is just too close operating in the shadow of the massive hub at DFW.
