Another Canada project. This one is intended for Squamish Nation land. Interestingly, the land is not subject to the same zoning/building constraints of typical Vancouver high rises, ie. height restrictions for this particular part of the city. This 10.5 acre project, could boast Vancouver's densest neighborhood. The project is set to cost $3 billion and be completed by 2030. Developers are planning 11 residential towers, including one with up to 56 stories, housing 6000 apartment units, or an astounding 600 units an acre. Lots of people, many non-Indigenous, are fighting it, but it looks like they are moving forward as planned.
