That looks nice, will add some height to the northern part of DT. Kansas City’s still building downtown they just aren’t able to get anything over 400ft.

City Plan Commission signed off on this project.

An unknown developer has hired SOM to design a 19 floor high-rise on the same block as Arnold's 9th & Central tower. No renderings available for this SOM project yet.

That looks similar to Lied Place Residences in Lincoln to me:

A new tower proposed one block away from the 9th and Central tower.

This new project will be a pencil tower and nearly entirely data center uses.

The zero bits are lighter than the one bits and rise to the top.

It could also a space and proximity thing to get a data center close to an important trunk line or backbone but there's no room for a traditional data center layout.

To be a pencil tower, wouldn't it need an eraser on top
For the record  NEBUGEATER does not equal BUGEATER    !!!!!!!

The KC tower has a FAR of >14. Pencil towers are anything above the 10-12 FAR ratio.

I meant to ask this the other and didn’t but, what is FAR? I assume it’s not anything related to Federal Aviation Regulations. lol

Floor Area Ratio. Basically, the ratio of a building’s floor area to its lot size, so an FAR of 14 means that the building has 14x square footage as its lot does.
